I turned away from the light as past voices murmured through the leaves.
Yen holds an AA in photography from the Art Institute of Atlanta and a BFA in graphic design from GA State University. The Photography Archive is original. Graphic design pieces are from the real world. Free time is spent retouching vintage photos and searching for plastic/ceramic deer, rabbits, and fox online and in dusty shops.
2013 is when Yen stops taking original photographs and instead uses existing and stock photography to form collages. Featuring the series called Animals in Heaven, ethereal creatures in various stages of death kiss the clouds and stars of their heavens. It is also a year of movement, whether implied or by animation.
